desk notes

Verified 2026-09-21. Python 3.12 project with runnable CLI/API, tests and BIRD mini-dev harness. README reports 38.0% execution accuracy on 50 questions, 40 grounding interventions across 24 questions, and recovery on 9/24; these are maintainer-reported results, not independent validation. No GitHub release tag yet. Grounding checks consistency with returned rows, not whether SQL reflects user intent. Repository README declares MIT, but GitHub's license endpoint returned 404 and no root LICENSE file appeared.
